WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION INCLUDING LEARNING OBJECTIVES
You will be making and picking up your own resin art panel and a coaster size art.
Introduction to Resin Art: The workshop would begin with an introduction to resin art, explaining what resin is, its properties, and its uses in creating unique and vibrant artworks.
Materials and Safety: The instructor would guide participants through the necessary materials required for the workshop, including the types of resins, pigments, mixing tools, and safety equipment. Safety precautions are crucial when working with resin due to its potentially harmful fumes and skin contact, so proper ventilation and protective gear are essential.
Demos and Hands-on Practice: The instructor would demonstrate various resin art techniques and guide participants through the process of creating their ocean panel and coaster. Participants would have the chance to experiment with colors and design to personalize their pieces.
Curing and Finishing: Once the resin has been applied and the design is complete, the pieces need to cure for a specified amount of time to harden. The instructor would provide instructions on proper curing and finishing techniques to ensure the longevity and beauty of the final artworks.
Q&A and Tips: Throughout the workshop, participants can ask questions and seek guidance from the instructor on specific aspects of resin art. Tips and tricks for achieving different effects may also be shared.
Pick up of your resin art will be anytime after 12 hours after the resin has fully cured at JEWELL HOUSE operating hours.
