WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION INCLUDING LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Cultivate and deepen your life engagement through art, transformative dialogues, personal inquiry, and action.  Explore your inner-feelings and thoughts through tactile creativity.

Art & Dialogue with Inspiring Sensory Experiences

Mayu Yabe-Barry will invite participants to engage in productive dialogues in everyday life and provide the theory and tools to experience your intercultural world through positive and joyful eyes.

Presented in three parts, the workshop provides a complete overview of the importance of dialogue with art and how it can be utilized in your daily life.

 Part 1

Explore wood with your five senses - connect with the materials to explore new insights into your higher self.

 Part 2

Create a holiday sculpture using wire, wood, and woodworking tools, such as hand drill, files, and sand papers — designed to stimulate all your senses, evoke joy, and awaken your creative spirit.

 Part 3

Dialogue with your art — discover your inner mysteries through sharing with small group discussion. This empowering experience will give you tools to communicate with intercultural people around the world.
